ParkMark for iPhone, iOS 17 or later

Email w.yihhsuan@gmail.com. Including your iPhone model and iOS version makes it much faster to work out what went wrong.

Questions people ask

The level it shows is not the level I parked on

The level is an estimate from the barometer, not a reading of a sign, so it depends on how tall each storey is. Settings has a floor height you can adjust; lowering or raising it shifts every estimate. Weather changing air pressure between parking and returning can also move it by a level.

Auto Record does not seem to do anything

It is off until you turn it on, and once on it needs the Always location permission, because it has to notice you parked while the app is closed. Check iOS Settings → ParkMark → Location.

Where did my photos go? They are not in Photos

That is deliberate. Photos and voice notes live inside ParkMark and are attached to the parking record, so they do not clutter your photo library. Delete the record and they go with it.

The widget shows the wrong vehicle

The widget follows whichever vehicle is active. Switch it in Settings and the widget catches up, icon included.

There is no signal in the car park

Saving a spot does not need a connection. The map will show blank tiles underground and fill in once you are back in range; the saved position and the compass that walks you back do not depend on the network.

Does any of my data leave the phone?

No parking data does. The privacy policy sets out the two things that do use the network: map imagery and the ad banner.

How do I delete everything?

Delete individual records in History, or delete the app to remove all of it at once. There is no account to close, because there never was one.

Reporting a bug

Useful things to include: what you expected, what happened, the iPhone model and iOS version, and roughly when it happened. Screenshots help. If it involves a specific car park, saying whether it was underground or multi-storey helps too.
